i have a blind mother in this place and i think they need to be investigated because every time i call up there or any of her family members call they always say that she doesn't want to talk to anyone and always make up excuses why we can't talk to her and the social worker Maggie is very rude and unprofessional and I'm having this place investigated because they won't give me us any information on her about how she's doing health wise and for all i know she could be dead and us not knowing about it

Recently placed my mother here at The Palazzo. It was a difficult decision made easy by their friendly, professional staff who went over every detail of the process beforehand. The Palazzo has experts in every department which helped with the process. My mom was from out of state and their social worker helped with switching insurance and gaining POA. Their administration department explained and placed my mom in the proper level of care. My mother has diet preferences which the dining services department talked to us about and accommodated. My mom refused to take her medications properly, that important issue has been resolved by their care staff. I haven't seen my mom smile or participate in anything social in years and I saw pictures of her socializing with a group of ladies and playing the bongos! So kudos to their activities department. All this and during a pandemic. I have no doubt that I placed my mom in the correct community. And I have no doubt that my mom will continue to improve her quality of life here. Thank you, the Palazzo team. No way I would have figured this out on my own.

I cant speak for the rest of the facility but in regards to Skilled Nursing, speak to any of the patients or families and they will tell you the part they dont post on this website which is the dirty rooms, hour long wait times for call lights, extremely understaffed. Its just a dangerous place to send a loved one for rehabilitation. There wasnt anyone for me to complain to since the director would not return my calls and the physician was over heard yelling not my job or I dont care when talking with staff.

Everyone on the SNF are decent people that do everything they can for the residents. I have lived on the second floor for nearly 2 years now. I dont plan on moving out anytime soon. They do a lot with activities, but I dont enjoy Bingo very much. We need more trivia to help keep our minds sharp.

The Palazzo renovations look great! My mom feels right at home and is already making friends.
