If I could leave a review with no stars, I would. My daughter and I were wrongfully arrested in Douglas on Saturday, May 27, 2017. My two autistic grandchildren were with us. They were taken into custody by Wyoming DFS and taken to a foster home. We were assured that they would be properly looked after and cared for. When, after finally being released later that day, we were reunited with them. They said they'd had a great time. I'm sure they did. All children love the freedom to do what they want.Your foster family sent them, along with some other children, down to the park to play. Alone. Unsupervised. As in no adult present. While at the park unsupervised, the children played in a drainage ditch. Let's reiterate this: Knowing that these two children are autistic, your foster family sent them to the park unsupervised. My grandson said that one of the kids had a walkie talkie. At 14, my grandson was probably the oldest child there.A walkie talkie is no substitute for proper adult supervision. But sadly, even though your agency was tasked with the care and safety of these special needs children, your foster parent couldn't be bothered to get off of their butt and properly supervise the children whose safety they have been assigned. And paid for, I imagine. We will be filing an official complaint.
