I first learned of this community when looking at various options for my mother. This is a true gem in Laramie - pleasant, well-maintained facilities at an affordable price and convenient for so many reasons. Independent living with some great services within a warm community.

Unique because members 62 or older invest in their personally owned rights to live in a barrier free one story residence in a nonprofit 24 unit corporation. When they move on, they retrieve their investment by selling or leaving their rights as part of their estate to be sold at any time to others meeting financial and age requirements of the Regency nonprofit corporation. They live with security, a well manged service staff, no property tax, lawn to water or walks to shovel, locked attached garages. A nominal montly rent covers basic amenities such as onsite service staff, scheduled minivan for community errands, entertainment or medical visits to nearby stores, hospital, university and events. A friendly community of western thinking residents.

What a pleasant, friendly place for independent living. It's in a nice location and close to shopping. There are apartments of all sizes and configruations. They have a dining room where residents can have lunch on weekdays. If they don't want to drive, there is a van service twice a week. They have enclosed garages and lots of storage space. It is a non-profit, which keeps the price down. We stay in their nice guest room when visiting our mom. We recommend it highly.
