My mom has lived at Oak Park Place of Menasha for one year. She has made many new friends, she enjoys many new activities, and she loves that she can still be independent. I see her smiling and engaged when I arrive unexpectedly. She has adjusted to a new normal mainly because of the staff. All treat her with kindness, respect and a genuine concern for her well-being. Shes happy .... so my family is

My father has lived at Oak Park for over two years in independent living and now memory care. He's very happy with the facilities and care he receives. In my own experiences, Maria is an absolutely phenomenal activities director and Kristen, the sales director, is always prompt and complete in providing answers to my inquiries.

The place is beautiful and it is nice to be here. I have been a resident for about 2 years and Iove it here. The staff are nice to me. The food is good. I also like the activities. There are nice places to sit outside and enjoy the weather in the summer. The people here are good.

I like the convenience for closeness of relatives. I like the staff, the place has grown on me. We now have a cook named Jeff and the food is much better, I am happy with it. I don't participate in activities much, I pretty much do my own activities, but I do like the Veterans Club. I don't have any complaints and if I did I would go directly to the staff.

Just a warning, do not put your loved ones here. They make a bunch of promises to you and have a nice facility to get you in the door, but the quality of care is so low. My grandpa was in memory care here and did not receive the care he was paying for. They fed him, but that's about it. Didn't help him with hearing aids, didn't clean his clothes ever or his bathroom, didn't try to get him out of his room at all. Very sad. Took him elsewhere and found a much more caring place and friendlier staff. I would not even tell my worst enemy to go here.
