I have been employed with this company since it switched from Heritage Manor to Elroy Health Services. I have seen positive changes throughout the year. I enjoy working with the residents and making an impact on their day.

Dear Elroy Health Services Staff,I wish to thank each of you for your patience with me. I know at times I was pretty trying. Mostly thank you, for treating the residents with dignity, respect and compassion. I know that my mother in law, Elizabeth 'Cookie' Gilchrist had the best care; care that I couldn't provide. You were her family these past months and you were my experts, teachers, counselors, and friends. I will always look at nursing homes/staff differently after this experience.I will not be a stranger and I hope more people are visitors. Love, Tammy Gilchrist

My name is Patricia. I became a resident of Elroy Health Services on November 27th, 2019. My husband and I have 3 children, 2 son-in laws, 1 daughter-in law, 3 granddaughters and 6 grandsons. I can not forget 2 dogs, 1 cat and several fur babies within the rest of the family. The original reason for entering EHS was for severe edema and planters fractions. I developed a bad pressure sore on my heal. After seeing a wound care specialist I began treatment.I was evaluated by OT, PT, & ST. It was determined I needed OT & PT.The wound care nurse took care of the pressure sore on my heal daily, and it is now healed. After setting goals for myself, I have worked with both OT and PT daily to obtain my goals..The staff is very helpful, friendly, courteous, and caring.I look forward to returning home in the near future.I will miss all of my friends I have made at EHS. Thank you for the wonderful care I have received.Sincerely,Patricia
