This place has allowed an employee to make fun of people with facial paralysis. I have the screenshots to prove it, and they are attached to this review. Should someone that can make fun of facial paralysis, that many stroke victims have, be allowed to work with them? I think not! Unfortunately, Clary Grove doesn't care, as long as it isn't done on company time.

This place is horrible.First, the food is inedible. And I'm a vegetarian who was constantly given meat. And more than once during my short stay there, they failed to even give me a plate.Second, I had just had a huge and painful surgery with sepsis. My surgeon prescribed 10-15 mg of pain meds every four hours, but they only gave me 5 mg, which did not help. Then after three days they tried to take them away, but ended up stretching that inadequate dose out to every six hours. Also, they didn't give me all of my meds at times, simply forgetting about me. I never knew when I would get them. And quite often, I had to go to the nurses' station and remind them.Third, I would press the nurse button as needed and they would never come.Fourth, their wound vac broke, so they went to packing and dressing my infected wound, which was way less effective. And when I asked them to please pack it tightly (as my surgeon ordered), they were deeply offended and quite rude to me.Fifth, the mattresses there are greatly inadequate: very soft and thin. They hurt my back terribly, even after they brought me a newer one with the same inadequacies.Sixth, I had terrible insomnia from the pain, often not sleeping all night. However, they wanted me up, washed and dressed by 8:00 a.m.And seventh, for the first 3-4 days, there was defecation on the toilet seat, although I complained about it several times. Only.once during my stay did someone come in and clean the room. The edges of the floors were quite dirty as well.I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone, ever!

Very friendly , careing staff who truly love and care for the residents there... They go above and beyond every day. I was! a short term patient there , and they all treated me with the same respect, and love ,as they do there regular kept me occupied with the many activities planned. And catered to my needs with great care.

My mother was at this facility. The staff is lazy. Observed them standing around in groups talking about their personal lives before and after work. Patients left waiting. Lost my mother's clothes in the laundry everytime they did her laindry. Gave her insulin then tested her blood levels. Levels were low could not exercise that day. Easy way to keep patients in their room. Plenty of time to stand around and ignore patients needs. Do not take any family member here.
