My mother's best friend is a resident at this facility and when my mother calls to talk to her friend, they don't answer the phone. My mother lives in Florida. Today is her friend's birthday and my mother's been trying all day, but no one will answer the phone. I finally was able to get through to the first floor who sent me up to the second floor, who once again, did not answer the phone. I called back again and spoke to someone on the first floor, asking if someone could please call my mother, so that she could talk to her friend. That person said for her to call back again and if they weren't busy they would answer the phone, then she hung up on me. I can't imagine what it would be like to have a loved one in this place where you're unable to communicate with them, even on their birthday!! According to my mother, this is not an isolated incident, it happens all the time

It's very Clean. No smell of Bad Stuff here. Staff are very Nice. And Helpful and experienced. But it is NOT separated. And there ARE patients cloistered around the nurses station area who are Not conducive to Good Mental or emotional state of mind for other patients trying to recover so they can Go Back home.Many patients room doors are left wide open and access to Very confused and helpless and Scared patients are extremely verbal about Not wanting to be there!My 77 year old Father WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS FACILITY BY CHOICE!
