I often pass the Mountain Inst.on my way to the summit when in route to backpacking. Such a beautiful place to spend a day or a week.

I go every year for the Almost Heaven Star Party. I wish I could live there. The yurts and the surrounding area is incredibly tranquil, wonderful quiet, beautiful views. I'm a scientist and an atheist, but I have to say I can feel a special presence easing my soul. Get place, the staff at The Mountain Institute are wonderful people every year I've gone.
