I cannot recommend this place. I will start off by saying that there are a few good workers that actually care about their residence. Unfortunately they are always understaffed. When I was able to come see my mother before covid-19 there was rarely a time that she was not saturated in her own urine. I would come in during mealtimes most of the time was not followed by a diabetic diet which my mother was diabetic. We had to also feed her as a family because they would not feed them, if they did it would only be a few bites. I witnessed many employees on their cell phones or outside smoking not bothering with making sure helpless confused people could eat. They are usually a younger crowd coming from fast food experience and have no business taking care of our loved ones. My mother was there for about a year-and-a-half to two years. We chose the memory care unit because there were less residence and we thought she would get better care. (NOT efficient care for close to $8,000 a month !!) She was hospitalized a few times one time being that they forgot to tell us to fill her seizure medication and they found her on the floor during the night hours later. Yet we are still liable to pay for the hospital bill that they caused. Then when she fell and tripped over the rug and floor hinge, they said they were going to fix it but they never did she broke her hand and went downhill from there. She actually fell again a month later in the same area that they were supposed to fix... I did my part and I called the state as well as Adult Protective Services. After they paid a visit things got a little better for a while. I was FaceTiming with my mother and she was not looking good. This went on for close to a month during covid-19. Last week we got a call saying they were sending her to the hospital because she's 'lethargic'. No she was dying from being dehydrated having a urinary tract infection & went septic. She died two days later. Luckily because of hospice we got them in a day before she passed and moved out of there so that her family could be with her during this time. Now apparently there is close to $30,000 owed and for what? I don't know but this place is a true scam and joke.

I was here caring for my grandfather in his last days. To say their Staff were amazing, is an understatement. So many staff members made a difference: K.C., Christina, Mary, Andrea, Evelyn, Cassandra, Donya, Anjelica, Henry, Julian; I could go on and on... A sincere THANK YOU for all you've done!!!

They are only reason they are getting a full star is because .5 is not available. This review is from Paula Sainsbury, whom she is referring to her parents Don and Bettie. I have been greatly disappointed with the care of my mom and dad. To cite specifics here is a picture the day he left Chesterley and the day after at a new home. I have asked numerous times to keep my dad shaved but the request was not honored. They have given him a mustache. A goatee. And then a full beard which he never liked hair on his face. He looked homeless. I decided it was best to have them transferred to a facility in Grandview to best suit their needs. During the transfer, his electric hospital bed, his wheelchair, my moms walker and dads hearing aids were left behind. Because I had movers and had to watch my parents, 90 and 91 years old, and because of Covid19 I am not able to get a full assessment of what may be missing besides these things. I don't how we are going to get them back, or if this going to be an extra cost to me. I have to say I was shocked at the lack of care. The building is new and clean but many times my parents would be wearing the same clothes as the previous day, hair not combed which I saw with all the clients there. For over $5000 a month there seemed to be a lack of initiative. I would see the staff in their office, braiding each others hair, or on their phones. A lot of laziness. My dad would have loved to be outside sometimes but they just let him sleep 16 hours. They didnt seem to try to engage my parents except at meals and then they sat them down to watch TV or to the room to sleep afterwards. I was also told that when it came time to do Medicaid I would have help with that from Laura. Instead I was lectured by Tracy and have had to muddle through it myself. Obviously it goes without saying I will not recommend this facility.

Very Poor safety, gates in rear don't lock. very few male employees at night and absolutely no kind of security. Workers get stalked and almost kidnapped and the company does nothing to fix the issue. Would never work here or put any family here ever!!!
