Tarri Bye
My dad spent a short time at Valley Pines Retirement Home before he passed away. I liked the family environment of the adult family home. My dad had his own room that resembled a bedroom from his home. He ate delicious home cooked meals with the other other residents around the family dinner table. It wasn't like a cafeteria. He could watch TV in his own room or join the other residents in the cozy living room to watch game shows or the news. My daughter and I joined him and other residents several times in the living room. It was very comfortable and truly felt like home. The owner Jim and staff were very kind and attentive to the needs of my dad. Jim took my dad and the other male resident out on the back deck while mowing the lawn. He called it male bonding time. This was a great fit for my dad. I had such a peace knowing he was well taken care of.
James Lowell
My name is James Lowell, and I'm the owner and licensed provider of the Valley Pines Retirement Home. In the 9 years that I've owned and operated Valley Pines, we have consistently expanded, modernized, and optimized it with the goal of establishing it as one of the best, premium-quality Adult Family Homes in the Spokane area. Our home is large, with multiple living areas and all-private rooms or studio suites, each with a private or semi-private bathroom. Our goal is to deliver a high-quality living experience, relative to most Adult Family Homes, but to also provide a Significant Cost Advantage and lower staff-to-resident ratio than you will find at most high-end convalescent centers. Most importantly, I strongly emphasize the quality of care at Valley Pines, and carefully select the staff that I employ to ensure excellent and compassionate care standards. I encourage prospective residents to visit with our residents and their families to learn more about their experiences with us.To learn more about us, or to schedule a tour, feel free to call me anytime at 879-4145 in Spokane.
