My mother-in-law is a resident at a Leisure Care community in Orem, Utah called Treeo. She loves it there. We shopped around for quite a while, and were SO RELIEVED to find a community as affordable, comfortable, and modern as Treeo. She has been there for 2.5 years, and things have been so smooth. Since she moved in, she has become more social, eats better, and exercises everyday. Not too shabby! And her apartment is adorable. Anytime I've had a question or concern, it has been addressed immediately. Happy with the management, and happy overall. Thanks Treeo!

$6023 a month for a suitable 2 bedroom, including meals, a cleaning lady, and courteous staff. We have been with Leisure Care for 6 years, thankfully, Mom is 96 tomorrow. I am satisfied with them and how corporate responds to the needs of tenants if management does not respond immediately, so I'm pleased that we are able to compromise on so many issues, like food quality, Healthy supplements, low fat, low cholesterol meals, heart healthy, and a friendly, courteous staff. People will be people, and not everyone will be satisfied with what they get, but mostly we are. The price is HIGH, but the surroundings are somewhat nice, and the activities, plus scheduling is innovative. I might have shopped around for similar at a lower price if I had to do it all over. They do charge, $10 per guest for meals, (Besides the $6023 a month, even though she misses plenty of meals.) Also, fees for this and that. I feel that a regular management change at this facility has been healthy. I'm also happy that other celebrity types have their folks here also, some friends with my Mother. Sometimes, their policies can be a bit restrictive and intense, which makes it uncomfortable for me and my Mom as she is blind and deaf, so needs a caregiver 24/7, but part of their policy prevents the caregivers from being around Mom while dining, which I feel is a liability that should be addressed. The elevators are nice and clean as is the landscaping. I think the staff at Fairwinds cannot be courteous enough to these seniors considering the hefty price. So, whenever 'Policies' Change, it can be upsetting to Mom, but so far Leisure Care has made adjustments. They have raised our rent twice in 6 years, most recently twice this last year. I hope that stops. I hope this helps anyone who is interested in senior care for their parents or friends.
