I'm looking for a retirement home for my dad, the staff at Daystar were so friendly and helpful; I felt welcomed and impressed with the whole facility, I see there are updates in the kitchen and dining rooms which is a good sign of good management. I felt they deserve a good review. My dad thinks of all the places in the area he's seen, he's going to choose Daystar because it really felt like home to him.

My mother has been at Daystar now for a year, she's living in the over 55 side which is no nursing assistance since she doesn't need it yet but when she's ready for that we'll keep her at Daystar. The staff is very caring and everyone always has a smile on their faces, so do the other residents, Mom loves it here, I would highly recommend over the other places in the area of west seattle.

Since new management has taken over in the last year, this place has made huge changes and upgrades. It was already a nice place, I have a friend who lives here and has been here for 6 years with her husband. They love it and would never think of living. The food is amazing, the staff exemplary and the apartments are well taken care of. According to my friend, you couldn't ask for any thing more.

I recently attended the Hawaiian Luau at Daystar as a first time guest. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting. I noticed that the residents were having a lot of fun and were well looked after. The campus was clean and everybody was very friendly. I would recommend Daystar to anyone looking into retirement communities.
