Peters Creek Retirement Center

In what should have been the last months of my Grandmother's life I moved her from central IL to Peter's Creek, in order to be closer to family. From the very beginning I was impressed with the people and the facility. The people were so warm, caring and incredibly accommodating. They made a difficult move, pleasant. Although my grandmother's illness took her much sooner than we hoped, I will always treasure how she was treated in her brief time there. Then, after her sudden passing I myself was treated with such amazing compassion. In addition to dealing with the circumstances of Covid-19, the staff at Peter's Creek went above and beyond to keep me informed, and reassured about the state of the apartment. Finally after 2 months of being unable to enter the building myself to clear things out, Jenny the facility manager took it upon herself to move everything of my Grandmothers out for my husband and I to pick up. This consistent care and effort speaks so much to the quality of people working at Peter's Creek. I could say much more about this facility and how they put the health and well being of their residents above everything. Instead I will say that although my Grandmother was only able to live there for a couple of weeks, I would do it all again. There was nothing I would have asked them to do differently in her time there.Thank you Peter's Creek.

Jen Petty the Executive Director is very professional and experienced. The building is beautiful, well maintained, amazing food, and great activities for all the Residents. 10 Stars!

Be aware. The owners previously had another location in Redmond. They sold the property and kicked all residents out. My Mother just moved in! They kept her deposit! Be aware the owners could do the same again. Your loved ones are not safe with these type of people running assisted living facilities.The owners are not previous owners dont be misled by this statement by Peter Creek who sold their previous location to Aegis Assisted Living. And kicked out ALL the residents, including my mother who just moved in months before the announcement. Please be aware of this and how the owners could easily sell their property to more well developed companies with much deeper pockets.

My mother was at Peters Creek for 4 years. It is what I call a lovely boutique assisted living community. As in all assisted living communities nothing is ever 100% perfect so yes in my mother's years there were some situations that could have been handled better. But the care and compassion they showed my mother far exceeded my expectations. My mother recently passed, I was grateful for the love and support for our family by the staff at Peters Creek.
