I had an adult trike that needed to be moved from Avamere in Port Townsend and contacted Jynell the Executive Director at this facility...Jynell greeted me upon my arrival and immediately showed me the trike with very courteous demeanor......I informed Jynell i would have to arrange transportation arrangement due to the overall size and width of the trike and knew it would not fit in my vehicle. Jynell Immediately said' i have a truck large enough to move it and could move it now' thus he moved his truck close to where the trike could be loaded.......Jynell and i then moved the trike to Port Townsend Cyclery for cleaning,inspection and adjustments/tuning.........Jynell is a HUGE Asset to Avamere due to his professionalism,courteous manner and willingness to help out without hesitation!.....Appreciate Jynell!.....BIG 10 STAR RATING!.....Bob

If you are looking for a place for your loved one, put Avamere on the top of your list to check out. Ultimately we ended up not being able to move mom in because she needed much more care than they where able to provide, (24 hour). We had reserved a room for her in June with Carley who is in charge of new residents. Carley kept in constant contact with us and reassured us there was no rush to move mom in and wanted us to be completely comfortable with the situation when we did. It was disappointing that it did not work out for us, but Carley was extremely gracious about our situation. Our whole experience at Avamere was a very nice one and we would recommend it highly. Thanks Carley!!

Beautiful. ..going through changes. ..our father was in need of care! our family having going through some tuff times in need of help...we decided to give Our Father a respite stay at AVERMERE...HE DIDN'T want to leave his home...he went in with very grave health...it's going on 3 months and he is thriving with the help of staff he is much better...and family members have been able to take care of there own health and well being...thank you so much Avamere...and a big shout out to MR JYNELL

This building was recently purchased and the changes are already apparent. When you walk in you are greeted by staff that wants to be there and patients who do too. As with any change, there are growing pains, but you can tell these changes are going to be great!

The worst place ever to put your loved in. Food is awful, service is horrible, and the activities are a lie!!!!!
