Summer Hill

My mom had nothing but problems it seemed during her month of recovery there. She would call to receive assistance in using the bathroom and MAYBE would get help within the hour. Even on her last day there as she calls for help she does nothing but sit and wait for staff to get to her. She was told there are other people to take care of she she has to wait. When staff needs to use the bathroom maybe they should try holding it for more than an hour each time and see how they like it!! She was put to bed early one night (by 7:30) because the girls coming on shift supposedly couldnt lift her (and shes not very big at all!) So when Im told that by her - my first thought is... why on earth are they working there??? If the place is that hard up on getting good staff with efficient coverage so people truly can be tended to then maybe they should figure out how to make that happen! I feel like they are understaffed and I feel like thats not okay when dealing with older people who truly need care and when its costing over thousands of their money. They truly deserve better care that that! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I am truly sad my mom had to go through that. At the time she didnt have a lot of options but if ever assistance is needed again we will seek it elsewhere.

do not let your loved ones stay here. this is the worst run operation that i have ever had to deal with. your loved ones are nothing more than a commodity. i am available with full documentation regarding the poor management, poor staffing and assault on family used to maintain a paying customer at the lease possible effort.

My grandmother loves being here the food is great and the service is also great she has made friends and loves it here.

Great staff and residents... my mother is living here now and the friendly atmosphere and caring staff made the transition easy.
