Meridian at Stone Creek

My wife has worked here for almost 2 years she absolutely loves it

My 92 year old aunt moved into The Meridian at Stone Creek today and is very happy! She had to be extracted from an abusive small residential care private home and when I flew up and got her, I had only 4 days to find the right Assisted Living Residence. Luckily I had been looking previously but I found The Meridian at Stone Creek through Julie at Caring.com. That was when I connected with Doreen Vitek who was absolutely wonderful in every way! My aunt was not too keen to even go in for a tour because she thought the price would be prohibitive. However after Doreen spoke with her and they were able to relate to each other, my aunt began to warm up. The Meridian is beautiful and clean, people appeared happy and well cared for, the lunch was really nice and good enough to pass the test for my aunt who had been a chef for 50 years! I would happily live there myself. We toured the available studios and went over possible scenarios for the total monthly price based on needed care. It turned out to be cery reasonable compared to her at home care costs! Doreen was so helpful with referring me to a move coordinator, a realtor, moving companies, a VA contact, answering questions, coming up with solutions, and going way far and above to ensure everything would be ready for my aunt on move in day! She helped me with contract questions and helped with ensuring packages were delivered to the room and there for the move coordinator to set up the room. She was the absolute best and more than I could have hoped for in making it happen. She was extremely helpful to me, especially because I live in another state! I think this will be a very happy place for my aunt to be and she thinks so too!
