Cozy little community with a great team.

I adore Pacifica Senior Living in Lynnwood. I've been visiting there every month for the last 18 months providing the residents with a hands-on painting activity. The staff is so very supportive and attentive. They often sit with the residents as if they were their own family and give them words of encouragement as we paint portraits of local shelter pets needing homes. You can absolutely feel the love that radiates out from staff to client and back again. The environment shows one big happy family, thriving and enjoying their days together. Thank you Pacifica for all you do for your 'family' of residents.

This community has a wonderful team with a family feel, many of the caregivers have been there for 15 plus years. The staffing ratios are perfect with each cottage only having 10 rooms, and always with one caregiver, a floating med tech and sometimes another floating CNA as well. The grounds are green with overflowing gardens and walking paths. I love the team and the residents really seem to enjoy living there.
Needfor Change
My parent has been in this location for a while now and I am frustrated that nothing is being done about the employee turnover rate, the lack of training for new caregivers, the lack of trust the employees have in the new Executive Director, and the basic lack of communication between the caregivers and the head office. There are only 6 cottages, so you would think that the communication about residents, or even work orders for the maintenance staff would be impeccable, but they arent. Feedback is also not well received and the only way actions are taken is if someone contacts the corporate office, or writes a review. Moving my parent is not an option, so I just hope we can get these issues figured out. My parent enjoys the community and the caregivers. I am willing to work with anyone to help fix these problems. Partnership and open, transparent communication is key.

The New...Director, Bonnie McMahon, is the most deceiving director this pacifica has ever hired. She says one thing and takes it back the next time you see her. I've talked to several employees there including the main office and they wish that upper management would fire her.
