This place is an absolute train wreck. Do NOT work here or bring your loved ones. The administrator, Silvana Backos is RUDE, very unprofessional and treats her staff like garbage. She use to work in the therapy department as a PTA, she should understand how it works. Since becoming the administrator she relies on therapy staff to complete incomparable tasks, things that CNA and/or nursing could take care of. She has also fired staff after making up lies about their work-ethic. Saber as a whole does not care for the well- being of their staff members and they just want your money. If your family member isnt appropriate for therapy, they force therapy staff to add them to caseload just for profit ruining the patients chance of having therapy days if they truly need it. Patients get neglected and lay in their own soiled linens for HOURS every day. This place needs to be shut down and start over from the beginning with ALL staff members. An absolute disgrace and completely disgusting how they treat human beings whether it be staff or patients.

My mom has been here for several months. Since the new administrator has taken over things have started improving. I know it will take a while to get this place running like it should but I am confident this administrator can do it. The staff here is wonderful! They are caring and helpful at every turn. The new unit mgr Claire is great and the majority of the nurses are as well. I really love Sharon, Angela and Robert they are always supportive and willing to help. The decision to enter a nursing home is never an easy one. Im glad that we found this one and things are steadily improving. No place is ever as good as your own home but as long as you have a team that wants to work to make things better thats all you can ask for.

I have been coming to see my uncle few times a year at Autumn Care of Suffolk for the last several years. In all these years I have never seen what I see now. Whoever is now running the place seems to be taking the job seriously. The building looks better than ever and courtyard area is usable for the first time in years. The feel of place has also changed. The staff seems happier and my uncle says he is getting help when needed faster than before. If this is a sign of things to come, I am very happy for everyone who stays here.

I interviewed for a maintenance position at this facility a year ago. The building is in great shape for its age. With renovations being done it is only going to get better. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. Administrator was very knowledgeable of the building, policies and was able to answer all of the questions that i had.
