Wow! Aarondale has surpassed my expectations! The staff is amazing, helpful, friendly and professional! The facility is clean and well maintained. The programs are amazing! It is not the easiest thing to leave the care of a loved one in the hands of someone else but I am so happy we found Aarondale! I highly recommend.

Aarondale is a fantastic community with a staff that clearly genuinely loves their residents! Mandy, the administrator is a wonderful leader and is so gentle with her residents and staff. The Life Enrichment staff makes it a point to keep the activities fun and varied and the residents are always engaged. I LOVE the Intro to Wine RUI University class. Moreover, the dining staff and servers are so sweet and go out of their way to make sure that everyone is accommodated and always smile when I see them!

I didnt know much about assisted living, but visiting here opened my eyes to what life could be like for my parents. No child wants to say that they cant take care of their loved ones, but coming here brought me so much peace. The staff, the food, the atmosphere- it was all so welcoming! I see they are doing renovations too. Once they are ready, my parents will definitely be coming here

This is an awesome place! I love the ambiance, culture, food, the surrounding community among many other things. I love that they provide exercise and wellness activities. This place is amazing, they provide great meals to the guests. It is located in a peaceful community in Springfield Va. I met some really awesome people here who are very happy to stay in a place like this.

This place is exceptional. I moved my mother in a little over 6 months ago and have spent a lot of time on site with my mother and the staff there. My mother has Alzheimer's Disease and moving from my home, where she lived with my family and me for 7 years, to a group setting was naturally a challenge. Every step of the way, the staff at Aarondale has risen to the challenge in a very dedicated, caring way and have made my mother feel right at home. The building feels warm and homey, the grounds are very well maintained, there are lots of activities for her to try when she wants to (we just attended a church service on the second floor for the first time last week), and she gets regular physical therapy which helps her enormously. Aarondale also does a marvelous job of serving the families of residents. They make us feel welcome, respond to our many questions, and can't do enough to make us feel like part of their community every time we visit. In particular, they do a remarkable job of hosting holiday and other events for families so you can swing by for July 4 or Thanksgiving and have a great meal with music and sometimes dancing right there. Every time I attend an event, such as last night's holiday party, I see multiple generations having a great time with their grandmother or grandfather (or both) in the comfort of a great facility and a well organized party. It's delightful. And if you have a special occasion, there's plenty of lovely space to hold one such as the library where we had my mother's birthday party.The net of my mother's experience at Aarondale is that she is happy there, more stimulated, more physically able than before and help is never far away. In my opinion, what makes the ultimate difference there is the people. The nursing staff and other care givers are highly attentive, professional and diligent. The physician's assistant that examines the patients is highly responsive (I was on the phone with her yesterday) and very experienced and the physician is available if necessary too. The dining staff provides great, home made food at every meal and they are extremely hospitable and make my mother feel like royalty. And the other folks who do the maintenance, cleaning and activities deliver superb results on a regular basis. If you appreciate that I'm making these comments in the context of very difficult, end of life issues, it makes the quality of service delivered all the more remarkable. Of course, Aarondale isn't perfect and wouldn't claim to be, but when there are problems they get fixed promptly and to our satisfaction. All of this excellence is the product of the leadership team that runs Aarondale. My first contact with Aarondale was with Alissa Schroeder who runs their marketing and community relations. She was full of answers and solutions and great advice that made our transition to living at Aarondale easy. She made a lot happen in a short amount of time. As part of the intake process, I also met Samuel Arthur, who runs their nursing program. He is a deeply caring nursing professional who has a great deal of experience with senior issues and provides a very strong nursing experience for my mother. He always has time for me. And all of this is overseen by the Executive Director, Amanda Brooks, who runs this well-oiled machine and cares deeply about the residents. She can never do enough to help my mother or my family when we are visiting and we have great confidence that my mother is cradled in a safe and caring environment thanks to her leadership.

The second thing I noticed was how clean the facility was. I also noticed quickly how happy and fulfilled our residents are to live here. We just moved my aunt into the Inpiritas home and we are very happy. The management from the first visit all the way through move in was organized and offered great communication. The nurses are friendly and patient. They offer many activities and offer a warm, homey environment for the residents.

My experience with the tour my family took at Aaronadale was proved to be beyond my personal expectation. The staff, management, and nursing team seemed so professional and welcoming it made me feel like we were home. The staff having this type of commitment to their work place shows when you walk in. Everything was clean, organized and moved with constant flow. If you plan to have a family member stay I recommend you take a tour. This place makes you feel like you are on a vacation year round. Aarondale also plans events for the residents that are created by the facilities event coordinators so you don't ever feel like you are trapped and unable to live your life.

Deciding to pass along the care of your loved ones is no easy task. My husband and I were very apprehensive deciding were his mother would be happiest (but more importantly safest).After several consultations at other facilities, we met with Suzanne at RUI's Aarondale location, and all of our worries were absolved. She genuinely cares about our loved one, and made sure all of our questions were answered. Her professionalism was out shined only by the genuine care and empathy she exuded during our welcome interview. If this community is half as diligent with everything as they are their staffing - My husband's mother will have the absolute best time here. With so many activities, and people that GENUINELY care, this was the clear choice for our loved one. I highly recommend you to stop by and meet with the fantastic people at this facility - it will put your mind at ease during a difficult time!

What strikes you immediately when you enter Aarondale is the warm family feeling that welcomes you with open arms. The staff and team made my mothers transition so easy. They go above and beyond whats expected. Everyone is first class and it was such a relief for me to see daily how well my mothers was taken care off. Aarondale is one of the coolest communities that I have ever been to. The building is filled with southern charm that immediately makes you feel at home. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Everyone I met greeted me with a smile. They have a ton of fun activities, not just for the residents but also their families like dine and paint. On top of all of that the food we had was awesome. It was like eating in a high quality restaurant! All of the food was fresh and there were so many options to choose from, even homemade deserts.
