Tried to facilitate a transfer of my husband to this home. They claimed the insurance denied them and the person who answered was extremely rude to me. I called my insurance company back and they said we do have extended care coverage and they had never heard from this place. The patient advocate at the insurance company called them while I was on hold and the same lady (Reba? Reva?) answered and she was extremely rude to my husbands patient advocate, interrupting her after she introduced herself and before she gave the patients information, saying he didnt have coverage. 1. HIPAA violation that I will be reporting, and 2. Dont you think the patient advocate for the insurance company knows what the coverage is? I dont think they will be getting my insurance companys money. We will go elsewhere.

Finally!!! It's about time.This place has been forced to shut down (due to financial and other difficulties to run the daily threshold and lack of staff), and was 60 days per the State to shut down I was told on 6/18/19, to close and move the patients to either Lampstand Health and Rehabilitation in Bryan, or Fortess Nursing home in College Station. I was there when some of the present 60 patients were being immediately transferred to the other facilities.
