Elmcroft of Chesterfield

My Mom moved to Elmcroft in April of 2019. Everyone there has been very helpful and caring, making her transition easy. They have become our extended family. I strongly recommend them!!!

My sweet Mom has been a resident of Elmcroft, the Chronicles wing for a little over a year now. At first it broke my heart to think of my Mom in a facility. My younger sister and I had tried to care for Mom in our homes but when she fell and developed a serious UTI, landing her in the hospital for a week, we knew she needed more care. Upon visiting Elmcroft, we instantly felt a sincere, genuine desire to care for and aid in the best personal care available. I can honestly say that Elmcroft is not just another facility focused on care giving as a business venture. I have witnessed first hand how the staff loves on their clients while providing a safe, loving, environment. The nurse on staff will return phone calls (I live out of town) and follow up on concerns that family members have. Sara, the activities director has really gone above and beyond, especially during this Covid 19 pandemic. Sara sets up weekly WhatsAp phone calls with family members to help us stay in touch. This has been a huge blessing. I can sleep at night knowing that my mom is being cared for lovingly and patiently and in her present state of dementia, the staff treats her with dignity and honor. I will be forever grateful to Elmcroft for all they do.Kathy Corless

I cannot find words to describe the care that the Elmcroft staff has shown to our mom! The decision to place mom was the hardest weve had to make, but we knew that we didnt have the skills nor the knowledge to help her like she deserved. After MUCH researching and days of visiting and evaluating many facilities we finally decided on Elmcroft and Im so thankful we did. The staff is nothing short of amazing and during this unusual and difficult time they have done a super job of keeping all residents safe.... that alone speaks volumes. LuAnn, Aly, Fran, Monique, Sarah and the ENTIRE staff have been wonderful and the peace we have knowing that mom is not only safe but shown compassion and love... We are SO thankful and grateful for Elmcroft and the staff there.... they will never know how much we appreciate the care theyve given to our most precious mom.....

My father & his wife have been residents @ Elmcroft for about a year. The staff has carried not only our elders but us, their children, along with them thru the death of one of their children, the wife transitioning to Memory Care, & now hospice for our Dad. The immense amount of trust that is put with Elmcroft is not misplaced. They keep us informed, they clearly care for our elders as they are gentle & kind. They have done an outstanding job throughout the Covid crisis. They are strict on policy & ensure all adhere to protective measures. All of that has paid off with excellent outcomes to date. We did our research on a lot of facilities & feel we made the best possible choice for our parents & for us. PS: another bonus is there are no elevators to navigate.
