I was just alerted by my parents that because of no response to the call for assistance to go to the toilet, my dad, who is 87, was trying to assist my mom to go to the toilet. Because of his age and lack of strength, my mom has fallen to the floor, wedged in between her wheelchair and the commode.My parents pay $500 extra a month to accommodate for my mom's higher level of care. Where is the care! If staff cannot respond to a BASIC need such as toiletting, how can we expect a 'higher level of care', this has to be some kind of joke!This facility states on its website that there is 24hr Personal Care Assistance and that they are known for 'Superior Quality Care.'I don't know who decided that their care was superior- it certainly would not be me or my siblings or my parents.

We were thinking of moving a family member in here and decided to just pop in without the pomp and circumstances that the marketing tour would give you. What we found was residents sitting around with nothing to do, no music playing, coffee station for residents had no coffee at all. While I cannot vouch for the care, I was met with some not all CNAs, miserable, not even a smile, not even a hello. That did it for my family no chance would we put our loved one here. I would recommend pop in any day over the tour.
