It's a decent place to workout. The people are amazing but when it comes to equipment this facility is lacking. In addition, most Y's have excellent stay and play options for parents with kids, but this Y has spotty stay and play options which means my wife and I get only spotty access to working out.

I recently went in and did the week free trial and loved it. No doubt Franklin's YMCA could definitely go for a remodel but as is it gets the job done. A couple of weeks later I went to join the Y officially with the family plan and was even approved for a discounted rate. I then had to deal with Lakita who let me know numerous of times she's the supervisor. She is the absolute rudest person that I've encountered there. She threw my application at me TWICE and then when asked questions she just seemed so bother. Long story short I chose not to join and will be taking that extra drive to the OBICI location in Suffolk. I'm well aware that one person doesnt make the whole company but she needs more training on customer service.

It was raining but we could have went in the in door pool. Like it is just a good place to work out like if it rains would you just go in the indoor pool

I Love the YMCA! I always had trouble making sure I worked out everyday! But the weather is always nice inside!! And the staff are so sweet and helpful at all times! I would recommend it to everyone I know.
