I have been employed at Emporia Manor for approximately 2 years. First as an agency nurse and I decided to become part of the Emporia Manor team. I have witnessed great strides in this building & a team that is dedicated to the residents and work daily to ensure the TEAM is focused on achieving more along with ensuring the residents have the BEST!

Do not put wheelchair or bedbound family here unless you hate them and want them to lie in soiled diapers over an hour after notifying staff. Some staff care a lot others not at all, but you can't get a reassignment if you feel a particular nurse or staff doesn't care. There is also a patient that yells out for someone named Margret constantly every minute she is awake. It constantly smells of urine and feces.
