The dementia care unit provided poor care. No activities in one unit. The activities person sat at a table and read magazines. The Administrator (who is not there anymore) was a liar and was very rude to everyone, staff and residents families. She was made aware of families concerns about their loved ones, but never did anything about it. The staff falsified records. Every time I asked a question, no matter how simple, the only answer I got was, I dont know. Nobody ever offered to find out. An aide admitted to a family member that she shoved the resident, but denied it when asked by the Administrator, so it was swept under the rug. No report or investigation. I do NOT recommend Dunlop House for dementia care!!

It was a sincere pleasure of visiting this facility yesterday. Joanne the marketing assistant was amazing and was able to answer all of my questions with kindness and professionalism. The facility was very clean and residents were being engaged And seemed very happy. Within an hour of our tour we had already received a follow-up email thanking us for our visit and offering future services.

The Dunlop House is very understaffed. I always come to visit a family friend and its never enough staff! Someone is always working by their selves from one shift to another with multiple residents wandering around in and out other residents rooms. You can never find the CNA and sometimes when you do find them they are on their phones. Its very unacceptable and sad that they never have a full staff and I have to worry if my family member and/or other residents are being fully taken care of!!
