Visiting Angels in Charlottesville, VA, has made a huge positive impact on my life. My 82-year-old mother broke her shoulder almost two years ago, and suddenly she was living with me. I didn't want to put her in a nursing home, and I didn't want to quit my job. It was a very trying and uncertain time, and then Visiting Angels came to the rescue! The intake team carefully and kindly explained how all of these life changes (for both of us) would work and how they could help. I've used this service now for two years in July, and IT. WORKS. My mom gets the individualized care she needs while I am at school, and I have no guilt about my decision. It's a win-win for both of us! Visiting Angels has been great about finding the right caregiver for Mom, and they also do light housekeeping, as well. They are quick to let me know if there is a coverage issue or if the CNA needs to adjust their schedule. Mom is ready to tell me about her day the minute I walk in the door, and I know she benefits from having someone else to talk to. I completely recommend this service to all.

I worked for Visiting Angels for about 3 yrs. while going through nursing school. They are amazing to work for. It was almost too good to be true. They allowed me to work my shifts around my school schedule which allowed me to have an income while doing well in school. If I hadn't had my sights set on working in a hospital, I would still be working for them today. You can be certain to be treated well.
