I have had the worst time living here! The food served is not conducive to a diabetic diet! They serve the same thing to everyone and I am not the only diabetic living here! On three occasions my pills were given to me wrong: twice, I was not given my sleeping pill and one time I was given three of the same pill, when I was supposed to have only two! I have also been extremely hot; I asked if I could put an airconditioner in my room. They said sure if I wanted to pay $50.00 extra a month! Which I find interesting, when I was informed that it is the exact same price one of the residents pays to have an animal here. I have not gotten along with female owner of this place. The bathrooms and showers are not cleaned regularly and I have to ask someone to clean it and the shower has not been cleaned since I have been here, and I have been here for 6 months! There is 7 of us living here and the shower has not been cleaned once except for when my Sister-in-law cleaned it! I am very peticular about being clean, also about where I clean myself! I have also purchased two fans just to keep me at a temperature that is comfortable to me. I just have not enjoyed my stay here. There is another thing, the smokers here smoke wherever they want and they are always smoking near my window or near the door which is also next to my room. I have never smoked or drank. But the smokers make the rules around here! I have never smoked and I have always avoided being around smoke period, And besides that I only have 40% of my right lung and I also have to wear oxygen, but that makes no difference to the people who own this place. I have also asked several times if I could get a ride to walmart. Well lets just say they are not here to serve but to cramp your style! I would definately not reccomend anyone to look at this place if you love the person you want to live here! I would give this place -3. I can give you a reccomendation to several places. Please do not choose this one.

I'm Julie Johnson My sister in law Jolynn is suffering from what I believe to be early on set of Alzheimers. I know she is not happy living here. She needs help with her meds and can not remember taking them. This is a problem. I did come to help with a shower and the bathroom was clean. I only wiped down the chair so it smelled fresh. She was refusing to shower for 3 weeks. I do not want this place to be closed down. She has an addiction to soda and sugar which makes her diabetes hard to control. The meals are served on time and most residents are happy with them. I'm sorry she is in so much pain but I feel the state and everyone helping Jolynn is doing their best to make sure she is not more addicted to her pain medication. I have been to several assisted living places and feel those who run this are caring. I'm so sorry that Jolynn is suffering so much and can not feel like she is being helped as much as she would like.

Great place. Management is great. The yard is professionally kept. Meals are good and on time. Residents are very well taken care of!

Country Oaks has been a blessing to our family. They take amazing care of our loved one. The facility is always clean, and the residents always looked out for. The food is also great. We have been here for a few years, and I can't say enough positive things about this place.

I have been in business for 9 years and the families are happy, comfortable and satisfied with our care. We love what we do.
