Apple Village Assisted Living

Unimpressed. Staff and management care very little about residents needs. Some of the staff have no clue what they are doing. Please dont bring your parents here.

A year ago, I would have written a glowing recommendation. My mother loved the staff, residents, and care. It made leaving her home an easier transition. Two months ago, we were told rates needed to be raised to compete and keep the great staff. We happily agreed because we were so happy with the care. One month ago, apparently to cut costs staff were cut as well. The administrator had a meeting with the residents informing them that changes were coming and the staff were told 'our way or the highway'. Most of the great staff left, these people were not just aides they were family that my mother has been with for almost 3 years. Quickly, care started to decline including showers not being completed, cares not being completed, waiting for staff all night for an emergency. When this was taken to the administrator my mother had her shower time changed for the convenience of the facility, and when it happened a second time she was outright ignored and dismissed. 'Our way or the highway' now includes 2 aides for 76 residents. If your mother or father had an emergency, would they get the help or services they needed? I've helped residents at The gardens, another assisted living ran by this company and I'm afraid Apple Village is going to quickly become another Gardens.

I recently visited Apple Village and was so very impressed with all of the staff. The Village is clean and cozy! Such a warm and inviting feeling. I met with Amanda and could right away see the love and compassion she has for every resident and staff member. My upcoming decision was made so much easier now Ive visited Apple Village. I have no doubt my loved one will be in the best care possible.

This place was unprofessional. No support on complaining. they tell us to write good reviews to make look better then it actually is. dont trust them at all.
