Retama Manor has been very helpful when my parents had to become residents because of medical reasons. When any member of my family has had concerns, Retama has also addressed them and followed up on the concern. But family members have to be present and make sure that their loved one is getting the proper care they deserve. I realize that at times they are short staffed, but for the most part the employees care and have a real concern for the residents. It is good to see my mother being taken care of so well and she is very comfortable with certain caregivers and nurses, but that is expected for residents to gravitate to certain caregivers. I would like to thank Retama Manor for the care shown to both my parents. We are very happy with their services.

Why do I think Retama deserves five star rating, the staff is terrific My husband had several strokes and became a resident at the end of January. During this time I have interacted with management, nurses, physical therapists, aides and other staff members. I found them professional but personable. My hubbys health and welfare is always a priority.

My mother suffered two intracranial bleeds from a fall and we took her to Retama Raymondville for rehabilitation and after being told at hospital she probably would not make it through the night, my mother after 39 days of loving dedicated care by all staff my mother walked out back to her home. We are extremely grateful to God and all staff for giving us a little more time with my mother. Thank you Retama Raymondville!

Do not put your loved ones here for any reason if you have a choice. They got off to a very bad start. We just got here today with my mom and she's been waiting in her wheelchair for over 1 1/2 hours to be put into her bed. They are very short staffed which means very bad service.
