Enjoyed working with Roy and his staff. They have great public relations and care about keeping the air conditioning up and working!

The transfer of ownership has benefited the appearance and the cleanliness of this facility. I see a number of workers who pride in their work and who demonstrate their love for the residents. It's great to see an active therapy center. Also, the Activities Director is truly invested in her occupation and in her clients. We so appreciate seeing the residents, who want to attend our monthly church service, assisted in coming. The people who attend Brighten our lives.

As a result of this facility, I have lost ALL faith in ANY nursing facilities. You go for a meeting with the Administrator/Head Nurse/Social Worker/Dietician... and they AGREE with you about how negligent things are; however the decisions made in the meeting DO NOT GET ACTED UPON nor does knowing they are understaffed change their actions about doing something about the issues at hand for the residents. My dad died before we could get them to answer to not following through immediately with the things they agreed to; however, I will be following up to make sure that I do all I can for those left there that deserve BETTER. I personally watched people not be fed for more than one meal while I went to feed my dad because they put his meal in his room knowing that he could not see to eat it. Even after my father passing away in their facility on a weekend night while NO ADMINISTRATOR or Person of authority was able to be located, NO ONE HAS CONTACTED THE FAMILY TO provide any kind words or express their condolences. THE ONLY WAY THAT I CAN BEGIN TO RID MYSELF OF THE GUILT I HAVE FOR ALLOWING MY DAD TO GO THERE IS TO PURSUE BETTER CARE FOR THOSE THAT CONTINUE TO BE THERE.
