This facility was advertised as a memory care facility but we feel it didn't support this claim. I didn't see much stimulation for patients, no activities, trips. Extra hired help (at our expense) was required by facility manager because her caregivers weren't allowed/able to do extra/certain care. The food was fresh and healthy but in the small amount side. Our family member complained of being hungry which led to him being irritable and frustrated. We provided foods for snacks but they weren't always given to him. In all fairness, it was our family member first time at a facility by himself but we felt a little more effort and compassion should have been shown. It was a very long and expensive month!
