I went to do a client's hair while she is a patient there. I was very disturbed by the way the physical therapist (Doug) spoke to my client. She had an appointment at 10am with me cause she had an appt with the therapist later and apparently he decides to come early to get her from her room and when she apologizes to him that she's not available till later when I'm finished with her but assures him there will be plenty of time cause I don't take too long with her, he snaps at her and tells her 'how do you know we have plenty of time, how do you know my schedule and what I have'? Very rude if you ask me. She wasn't asking for alot. This patients don't feel too good and if a little thing like a hair cut makes them feel better let them. People like this have no business working in a place that takes care of sick people. Hope I never have to go there for medical help!

Very effective staff. Laundry is done almost daily for patients. Good procedures practiced when flu is detected among patients. Staff is very receptive to patients and families. They lost my father's dentures (he placed them on the food tray) and they are taking care of the cost for new ones. The therapists identified my Dad's mental decline rapidly and moved him to the next door hospital immediately. The social worker listens and works with the family. The business manager is not pushy and does not sugar coat the age of the facility. Outcomes from Golden Palms are better than average.
