My mother received excellent care her entire time in residency at Stonebrook. Our family visited on a regular basis, and her room was well maintained and clean, as was her bathroom. The staff was always very loving. Mom was not ill one day, a testament to the skills of their head nurse. We are grateful to everyone at Stonebrook. They were a blessing to our family.

This is not a good facility and do not put your loved one at Stonebrook. They accepted my husband without doing an initial assessment to see if he was capable of living in an assisted living facility, which he was not. He fell 5-6 times and one time, i found him on the floor yelling for help for over 2 hours. He was last seen at 5 pm and I found him on the floor at 7:30. He was supposed to have been checked on at 6 pm, but no staff on site said they had checked on him at 6 pm. He often went for 10 days to 2 weeks without being bathed and there was ALWAYS feces all over his toilet, shower, and bathroom floor. On June 4th, I found him in his room with a 104 fever, so i called an ambulance to take him to the hospital and he had pneumonia. While he was in the Er, the staff had to change his diaper and they found old, caked on feces on his butt and scrotum so bad that they had to get a scrub brush to remove it and when the feces came off, it took his skin off with it. All the while, my husband is screaming in pain. As a result, he had open wounds and ulcers all over his butt and scrotum area. All of this happened, despite me going to Stonebrook every day to check on him.
