I wouldn't recommend your family to stay there abuse happens a lot & they are always short staffed. They even allowed a worker to have a relationship with a resident for almost a year, until i called state

When I arrived at Cimarron Place, I was expected to stay three months and probably leave in a wheelchair. Well, I was able to walk out after 5 1/2 weeks. The facility was kept clean and maintained (except for a couple of squeaky doors). The only reason I didn't give a five star rating was because of the food, though it did get better as time went on. The nurses and aids treated me with respect, kindness and compassion, making my 'bad' days more bearable. The physical and occupational therapy staff are amazing! They made me believe in myself, and encouraged me to go beyond what I thought I could do using every tactic from instilling faith in them to sometimes tricking me to believe the task put in front of me was easier than it actually was. They had me figured out! They are well trained and dedicated to their jobs, never cutting our sessions short if they thought I needed more time. Each patient is important, not just another body to move around. Thank you all for getting me back to my life.

The OT and PT availability is good. The nursing and service staff is inconsistently bad/good and considerate/inconsiderate. My loved one was attended to by myself and other family members multiple times a day everyday. Without the family help my loved one would have been left without much needed medication for hours. It regularly took over an hour to get requested medications. The regular practice when the call light is for a cna or other help to go into the room and ask if anything is needed. If the patient requested medication they would say they are calling the nurse and turn off the call light. The nurse may come in 15 minutes or 1.5 hours. When questioned again after an hour the staff would reply with curt responses acting as if the question was annoying. I would not recommend leaving any disabled person at this facility unless you are able to stay in close contact with them everyday and are able to intervene on their behalf when required. I am leaving two stars instead of one star because it's not 100% bad. They have many great staff members that really care about their patients and their job, but they also have inconsiderate staff members who don't have a heart for their job and who lack the compassion needed to do their job well. Overall the bad mixed in with good leads to a 2 star review since it's not possible to avoid the bad members of the staff.

This place is the slums, staff don't care about your family member. They have a idgaf attitude for anyone there. U walk in and it feels like a funeral home.Way to many patients n not enough staff. My family member was improperly handled while xferring to bed. They are abrupt and use tough love to get your loved one moving. My family member was scared after the 4th day. They even disconnected the phone so no one could call.Place is the worst i have ever seen. DON'T TRUST THEM!!!I would give them negative 100 as a review.
