One of my former clients resides here after a horrifying time at another conroe facility. Their Xmas party was enjoyable and delicious food. His room is kept clean, he is dry and enjoys the people in memory care. As any facility it has its issues from time to time but overall worth the money and peace of mind.

My sisters and I settled mom in at Elmcroft at Rivershire one year ago (2018) and were thrilled with our selection of memory care facilities. However, beginning in the Fall, things began to change. Staff teams left one by one , aids changed everyday. Furniture was different, rules and codes changed. Pretty soon we were familiar with very few personnel. Mom's furniture disappeared . We found this 'new' facility not as caring or accessible as it was prior to the 'clean up'. If mom had not passed away in April, we probably would have had to make a decision on whether or not to leave her there. If you plan to be a hands on relative and know each caretaker personally and are able to keep pictures current of your loved one's room, then perhaps this facility might work for you.

I have had a great experience at Elmcroft of Rivershire with the care of my Mother. I am so thankful we decided to make Elmcroft of Rivershire her new home after her husband passed away in 2016. I highly recommend this facility for anyone needing care for the elderly.

Honestly there is good and thing that need improvement in any facility. My mom was at Elmcroft for a very short time last year. I felt management and communication was sub par. The owners have changed since then and while my mom is not longer there, I am hearing through friends with loved ones at Elmcroft about changes made. I find pricing more reasonable than other places. If I had a need today, I think I'd pick Elmcroft again.
