I lived at Villagio of Carrollton for nine months, and sometimes felt like I was in prison. After six months, my room became infested with biting bugs, but facility leadership insisted I brought the bugs with me. That was not possible because due to Covid-19 restrictions, I had not been out of the facility for three weeks when the bugs began biting. They quarantined me in my bug-infested room several times even though I had visited a dermatologist who confirmed that I was not contagious and bites were from bugs in my environment. Villagio didn't have the ability to find them, and treated for bedbugs, even though doctor and exterminator confirmed there were no bedbugs. After two months of this, my daughter finally took me out of assisted living. I'm so happy now. I hope nobody has to suffer the cruelty and abuse I endured while I lived there. Some of the staff was nice to me and called me 'Beautiful' while I was there, but that was not enough to overcome the bad environment and mean leadership. Also, the diet is pure sugar and carbohydrates, so I gained about a pound a week while living at Villagio of Carrollton. Dessert after both lunch and dinner, sugary snacks in the morning and afternoon, and too many carbohydrates in general is not a good diet for anyone, much less a senior adult. I finally started telling them not to bring me any dinner. This facility does not know how to provide a healthy environment for a senior, physically or mentally.

I was looking for an assisted living for my mom so i checked around and The Villagio looked great. When I first came they showed me all around, their staff made us feel so comfortable and were so caring that my mom loved them immediately. Not only are the people great and caring but its a fun place and a clean place. its been about 4 months and i see my mom all the time. everyone is still great and caring and my mom seems to fit in really well. i feel so much better knowing she is in a safe environment with good people around her

Villagio is great! They have amazing chefs and very good food. Lots of activities for the residents. The building itself is very warm and homey and the whole team is caring and compassionate. We've been to other assisted living communities and Villagio seemed like one of the best options for our family.

I have had the opportunity to visit a few of the Villagio communities when i am traveling, including Villagio of Carrollton. I happened across them on Google this morning, and wanted to do a quick review of the ones that I have been to.I have been here a few times, and each time, the staff has been very friendly, and the residents are very happy. The building itself has a lot of natural light and the courtyard is beautiful. Families appear to be very happy with things and the few times I have been there, the activities have been fun to watch. I am pleased to have had the chance to support Villagio because I know some of the people, and they truly care about the well being of their residents. The last time I visited, I took my young kids. They enjoyed seeing the 'senior living place,' and liked wii bowling!
