Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

My family member was recently admitted to this rehab center. Wonderful staff, always attentive and kind. All staff had great bedside manner and all medications were given on time and when needed. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to improve in health and rehab.

My dads goin on a year and a half here, at the beginning they were curious and nice and now seems like no one cares about my dads attention, hes had a neck pain due to several falls and staff tell me they told the Dr already , I come here 3 times a day most of the wk days and I have not seen his Dr. Im gettn ready to file a claim for neglecting him. Everyone passes the bucket around , my dad is 93 years and has dementia and cant hear, I guess all they care about is his paycheck. Ugh...

Please,please if your looking for a Nursing home or Rehabilitation, do not come here look into other facilities may this one not be an option for your loved one....My father was here one week,staff was really rude towards family members they would get offended when questions were asked but yet since they transfered my dad from the hospital they didnt present there rules and what was needed..They do not check on your loved ones if your not there to speak for them...Thank to God we are a family of 10 and there was always one of us there and it seemed to bother I guess since they knew they would be more attentive since one of us was there...They refused Iv on my Dad after my Dad stopped eating..We managed to get him discharged and hospitalized ,he was dehydrated...Never did they do blood work when they said they would,food was the same everyday...no change after asking more than twice..They say they will do one thing and never do..My Dad needed therapy and they didnt start it until we started pushing them my Dad suffered a Stroke and they would just leave him in bed ,we would tell them move him to the chair to keep him active his here for therapy and nothing is being done ....We wanted to move to a rehab hospital since they werent getting it done,then they started moving more on doing his therapy..If this facility is not told what to do or your on there back they just see your family member as money coming in.. sad to say but it the reality....If I would be able to give no star that would be my rating...
