My loved one is in the Assisted Living facility and I cant begin to express how impressed I have been with Brookdale at Spricewood Springs, Senior Living Facility. The biggest test a senior living facilities has had is during the Covid-19 pandemic and Brookdale at Spicewood Springs has stepped up to the challenge and has executed flawlessly. From the very beginning, very early on, they took the situation seriously and put all the precautions in place to keep the residence safe and healthy. They took the advice from the experts, locked things down quickly and effectively, screened their staff and screened residence when needed. The staff pays attention to every detail, from cleaning and meal preparation to nurse visits. And something that is often over looked in these situations is the activities director has done an amazing job keeping the spirits of the residence and staff at an incredible high and positive level. I could not be more thankful and blessed knowing my loved one is in such a well-run and managed facility. I would strongly recommend Brookdale at Spricewood Springs to anyone looking for an Assisted Living facility.

I worked for the facility 6mths and due to not getting enough hours transferred to spicewood facility which is also Brookdale. That facility was awful so I gave a 4week notice after 4mths due to no ppe , short supplies, and short staff. I was told by lakeway I could stay there prn but then that changed to after 30to60 days doing a new hire. I reached out to hr and don who said we are interviewing and I'll see after that. Isnt there any loyalty from the company from a loyal good nurse?? Apparently not!!! Dont work where your just a number!!!

My mother hasnt even been in this location 24 hours and already I dont like it. My mom was transitioned from the hospital to this facility between 5-6pm. So when visiting my mother after she settled in, I was greeted with a rude look because came by after 8pm. And when I asked what room she was in, my sentences was cut off abruptly with her room number. And the person who gave me all that attitude turned out to by my mothers caregiver. I think its time I ask for a change in caregivers or get her the hell out of this place!
