I understand that this community attempted to decorate with an atrium and plan events that they felt would be entertaining, however, in my opinion, this is not a state of the art memory care facility. The reports I have heard from family have been very very sad and the facility reportedly is not staffed accurately. I dont know if the problems are at the level of administration or higher, but it all needs to be brought to the right persons attention because the needs and welfare of the residents are suffering. Many of these wonderful reviews are written by staff and administrators and are a conflict of interest. The staff are being worked extremely long hours due to the shortage and that leads to accidents and worse. There may be nice surroundings and pretty decorations, but there is no physician to monitor residents health, there is no therapy team to help when residents decline or advise families on what to do and how to best care for their loved ones. There isnt even a place on the sidewalk where they can wheel a resident into an ambulance, they have to jerk them off of the curb and in the rain. I think a lot is left for families to figure out on their own. On top of not having adequate staffing, there is not adequate resources and care for these residents. From what has been seen and heard I do not know how sagora can title this the best in memory care.I am aware that I can speak with Beth in the directors office, but I would like someone that is in charge to make changes for the lives of the residents and so that they Dont need to be moved out of there, so they can be safe and well taken care of. This facility does not have proper support in place for advancing dementia patients and that makes me very sad. Families arent aware, when they go and tour and they have nice surroundings, of what it takes to support someone with advancing dementia. This facility just doesnt offer those supports. Sagora needs to make some major changes to support their staff and also their residents and families. Dementia residents need to be safe with monitoring, alarms, rails, and proper beds that can be inclined and assist them as they advance. This facility does not provide any equipment To help families care for their loved ones. Unfortunately I think that is not an accurate picture to title this facility the best in memory care.

Wonderful environment and care. Lots of engaging, stimulating activities. Many one on one visits daily. Great place.

Bad management. The administration has no qualifications to be in management. If you truly love your family do not put them at lyndale .

The residents were/are an amazing bunch, of people. I wish I could say that about management though!

I would not send my worst enemy here. They ran out of my Grandmas medication at least 3 separate times over a 2 month period. When my Grandma would ask for help they either laughed at her or completely ignored her. We would have to call to ask the nurse to give her pain medication. The final straw was when she had a big fall in front of their staff and she kept telling them she was in pain. They dont check her or offer a doctor. Three days later she calls 911 on her own. Turns out she had a broken back.
