FirstLight Home Care of Maryville owned by Ben and Angela Crawley was a wonderful gift and answer to our prayers! This amazing team of professionals enabled us to help our Mother stay in her home more than a full year longer than she could have otherwise. There is no way to properly measure this gift that includes peace of mind, independence, insight, professionalism and caring, kind attitudes! I highly recommend FirstLight of Maryville!

My family started this care giving journey as family care givers for my mom who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. As our care giving needs increased we reached out to a company who worked out well until they didn't. Ben, Angela and the ENTIRE FirstLight Home Care team stepped in and stepped up to the plate. They provided excellent caregivers who were compassionate, professional and dependable. Whenever we needed a caregiver outside of our normal schedule they had us covered. When a caregiver could not cover our needs, Angela and the office staff would pitch in and see my parents were cared for. The transition from wanting 1 care giver 3-4 hours a week to needing 2 caregivers, 9-10 hours a day, 7 days a week was seamless! Ben and Angela Crawley of FirstLight Home Care of Maryville made it possible for our family to fulfill my parents wish of being cared for in the comfort of their home. We hired this company to take care of my mother while I was out of town and my dad was staying with her. Wr agreed upon several days and hours and made sure everything was ready to go. We were on a cruise without cell service but when O called to check in a day after they were supposed to come , my father said they didnt show up , as he waited for them so he could go to church. So I tell him to call the next day and they just said there had been a mix up, no other explanation. They had my dads phone number and never called him about not showing up. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially when people are depending on you. As result my father ran out of food for him and my mom because he had no one to watch her. I am still extremely upset with this company for this and would not recommend them at all! No apologies , no nothing about their huge mistake!

Dear Ben and Angela, I imagine the two of you set out to establish a 'better company' that what you had seen from her prior hospice work. From my perspective, I want to tell you MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. The two of you and your employees were amazing. You came thru when no one else even answered the phone and made a very difficult time manageable. I also can not say enough good things about Tina. She is a wonderful and kind caregiver. Having her with my father when I left town gave me a sense of peace. Everyone went above and beyond. You, your company and caregivers provided exactly what anyone would want and need for their loved ones during such a difficult time. THANK YOU!

They took care of my Aunt. They had trouble with staffing and higher pricing than other areas in the agency. I would not recommend. I'm not sure if they have been in business very long. I was pretty dissatisfied with the service.
