Walking Horse Meadows

My mother stayed at Walking Horse Meadows for three years after we were no longer able to provide care for her in her home. I believe the management and staff are Heroes everyday for all the loving care and they provide for their residents. They're also very excellent in providing care during urgent situations. They were superheroes this past summer during a storm that knocked out power in a large area of Clarksville. I talked with the condominium owners who are located right beside Walking Horse and they said during the storm there was an electrical fire ball running down the electric line for several minutes and many startling noises and electrical . There were also huge power fluctuations in the area and then the Transformer blew. The staff at Walking Horse did an amazing job in protecting the residents and doing everything possible to ensure their safety during this difficult situation that affected many people in Clarksville. I believe the management and staff at Walking Horse are angels protecting many senior citizens. I'm very thankful for all the Care they provided for my mother and provide for all residents and I'm very blessed to call the management and staff at Walking Horse my friends. Our Mother/Mother in Law resided at Walking Horse Meadows for over two years. We were well satisfied with the care she received. The staff was always attentive and caring. They were always kind and patient. The staff has a difficult job and we thank them for taking care of our family member.

My experience with this community was while I worked as a private duty sitter with a resident that resided on their memory care side. The staff was very attentive, compassionate, and caring with their residents that have dementia. I would highly recommend WHM for elders that require 24/7 care.

Walking Horse Meadows are not equipped to take care of male patients. Very uncaring staff. The nurse was the worst! Beware that even through you pay a great amount of money for the care of your love one, you will be called several times to come there and do their job for them. Worst experience ever!
