Incompetent workers from administrator down. Place typically smells of urine. Carpets need professional cleaning. Completely inept at ordering medicine from the VA, which is the easiest thing in the world. Lies in brochure about having a van for trips, total lie! Claims diabetic meals, but really only feeds less of a skimpy meal to diabetics than non-diabetics.Patients parked all along hallways throughout the building heads laid back with mouths wide open.Is really at best a 1.5 Star boarding house. Moved my Mom to a great new place for small rate. Instead of alerting me to the fact that Mom had received some medication so I could pick it up and bring it to the new assisted living place, administrator packed it up and mailed back to VA. As an administrator, she had to remember that there would be a gap in Mom receiving her Meds in the place from the old place. This has resulted in costing me about three hundred dollars so far getting it filled local. VERY IDIOTIC MOVE! BTW! Montrose Manor uses OMNICARE as their in-house pharmacy. They have been fined millions of dollars for bilking the elderly out of money. Cost me over a thousand dollars when it was supposed to be completely covered. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE OR MONEY. Has a few good providers, most left because of the bad working conditions. Showers allowed to grow mold and floor mounted air conditioners/heaters the same way. A precise time timetable to give out Medicine is ignored.
