I moved my client from another facility that was very verbal and disrespectful to the elderly. I have never seen her this happy in the 7 years I have been caring for her.

The staff is nice but extremely disorganized! My father who has dementia was supposed to go into the Memory Care Center. We were originally told he couldnt go because he had a catheter (which was only temporary) so we found another place. A few days later they called and said they gave us the wrong info and he could come in with a catheter and told us to cancel the other place, so we did. They sent a nurse to do an assessment and said he could move in in 2 days. The day before he was supposed to move in, they called and said he needed to make an appt with the urologist to have the catheter removed and if he needed to have it put back in, they could take care of it. So we made the appt for the morning he was supposed to move in. A few hours later they called again and said they had a meeting and could no longer take him. We were livid to say the least. If you have any idea what its like to be the sole caregiver of a dementia patient, you know how draining it can be. To be put through this situation is borderline heartless! This place needs to get its act together and hire staff who actually know what theyre talking about!!
