As a physician who works in Long Term Care facilities and Subacute Rehabilitation I have been impressed with the excellent communication of the administration and staff with my mom and myself during this challenging time. I have been very thankful for the excellent job they have done and are doing to keep my mom and other residents safe during a very challenging situation with Covid19. The balance of keeping this population healthy & safe and caring for and meeting the needs and wants of the residents and their families is beyond difficult. There is no easy solution but I appreciate all of their efforts! They are pros! My mom enjoys interacting with the staff laughing and sharing what recent crazy thing one of her family members has sent in the mail or dropped off. She enjoys the Physical Therapy she has gotten there and she enjoys sitting and relaxing in the beautiful courtyard. Before the restrictions necessary because of Covid, she was hardly ever in her room because she was visiting other residents, watching movies in the theater and playing Bingo etc. They have been responsive, professional and kind.

I transferred here to The Palms of Mt. Pleasant from another Five Star community in Georgia. The staff and residents are simply wonderful. Residents are happy here and so welcoming. We have over 200 wonderful staff members and between 20 of us we make up 255 years of Service in this wonderful Senior Living community. This is the place to be !!!!!!!!!

We thank our lucky Stars that we found out about The Palms, especially now with the worries of COVID 19. They have taken such good care of my parents, communicated frequently, and kept everyone safe. The residents and staff are friendly, the services and activities available are many, and the location cant be beat. Thank you to all who have made us feel so at home there!

Caregiving for elderly dementia patients is one of the most challenging, and most important, endeavors we face, and doing so in the midst of a pandemic so dangerous for the elderly just multiplies the difficulties for all involved. The Palms At Mt. Pleasant, and specifically the Bridge to Rediscovery Program, deserve 5 stars on all critical elements. Our Mom has been at the Palms for more than 2 years, first with our Dad in skilled nursing. Her 3 children and her best friends could not be happier with the care she receives, especially the BTR staff who provide the continuous love and compassion she needs and deserves. I recommend them to any family facing similar challenges. Thank you all at the Palms.

My mother couldnt be happier at The Palms of Mt. Pleasant. Fortunately, she is able to live independently and has found many friends there as well as having made friends with the lovely people that work there. The food is good and the atmosphere is perfect for her.
