Ashley River Plantation

I became apart of the team in October of 2019 and absolutely love my job! I am surrounded daily with great residents and team members. We are able to provide that special someone support everyday in either our Assisted Living or Bridge to Rediscovery Memory Care Communities. I would be happy to confirm a tour and share more about our options and life in Ashley River Plantation Communities!

To anyone reading the reviews associated with this facility:I would like to bring to everyone's attention that the majority of these 5 star, stellar reviews posted are done so by Ashley River Plantation management themselves. This brings into question ethical business practices and integrity of management to condone the false boosting of their Google reviews and ratings via 'fake news' reviews, not to mention curiosity about what really goes on there.Given that many of the other 5 star, stellar reviews posted were also in the same 3-6 month timeline (that Ashley River Plantation management posted their reviews), it calls their integrity into question as well: What was the motivator for those posts? Do they even have loved ones living there? Are they friends? Are they family? First, I have to say that I have not had anyone that I know stay at Ashley River. I am posting this review solely on my experience in dealing with some of the staff at the facility. We were looking into a place for my father-in-law and had he stayed in Charleston, we would have chosen Ashley River Plantation. My very first unannounced meeting with Sean was very warm and welcoming and he was very responsive to our needs and especially helpful. From there, we continued our relationship with Sheryl and I know that that their goal, of course, is to fill rooms and keep the place running, but she was so much more than that. It is such a difficult time when you are considering such a move for someone and there is so much turmoil and confusion and I have to say that she was instrumental in helping us through this process. She was warm and caring and very professional and offered us such helpful counsel. She felt like a friend. She also seemed to call just when were we at yet another crossroads - like we shared a link! I don't usually leave reviews, especially when we didn't even use a service, but I wanted them to get credit for all the help they gave us even though our loved one ultimately moved from Charleston.

Sheryl was absolutely amazing! She really went above and beyond to ensure that my mom had the perfect experience. This season in life is tough and Sheryl was great at easing my mother in and making her feel welcomed and loved! She helped me so much with this process and it was just a wonderful experience. I cant praise Sheryl enough.
