The community is so beautiful and I found the staff to be super nice

We have been very unhappy with some of the staff at The Retreat. The room is not being kept clean, the food is below average and some of the help just does not care. The director does not respond promptly to complaints or questions. Many times the staff is just sitting watching T.V. I was in the cafeteria one day and a patient was crying and the staff member just sat there looking straight ahead, she could not have cared less. It was very sad.

Great views of the river and downtown Beaufort. The care team is very warm and welcoming.
