I believe this home is where my grandfather lived in 1977-78 Joseph I. Bromley

When my wife and I were searching for a retirement community a few years ago, we looked no further than Souderton Mennonite Homes. Granted, we knew the area very well (both of us are retired from the local school district), and we also had close friends who were already living here. But they were not the only reasons we chose SMH. We were -- and still are -- quite impressed with the 'family' atmosphere here, the caring and concerned staff, and the sense of belonging that permeates the campus. Residents are encouraged to become involved with various activities here, and we have done so, which clearly helps to enhance that 'belonging.' We've been living at Souderton Mennonite Homes for more than four years now, and are so glad we came here.

I came to Souderton Mennonite Homes several years after the death of my husband realizing that I could not continue to care for my large home in the Pocono mountain area. I knew little about the area but I found both the residents and employees to be extremely helpful and friendly. There are a large variety of activities and I soon became involved in many as well as the many opportunities to be of value by volunteering. It is very freeing to not have to worry about lawn care, shoveling snow or home maintenance. I am very happy to call SMH my home!
