Always like the ATria's Pleasant Hills. food was always good and had a great bar. But Wednesday was a different story. I wanted a steak salad and didn't see it on the menu. So i asked the waitress and she said that they could make it. I always loved their steak salad. I order medium rare and it came out medium well, but that's okay because they are probably out of practice. But when they presented the bill i was shocked. They charged me $32 for what they called a filet salad. I called the waitress over and asked her why the salad was $32 since they were always in the high teens like $18 or $19. I said that if i knew i was going to be charged for a filet dinner i would of ordered one. She said that i did get one since they considered the salad the side. She said that was because of COVID. I never felt so ripped off. How can the management carry on like this. It's one thing to wear your mask and do all the preventive things but to overcharge because of COVID is just not right. I guess there will always be people who take advantage of situations and now i see that Atria's is one. We all should be helping each other not taking advantage of each other.

I am a vendor to this facility and provide entertainment for their residents. I can say that the staff truly cares about the well-being and comfort of each person in their care. It is important to them to bring quality programing to brighten their day. It is a great place and I am proud to be a partner with them!

In the 6 months my mother was there, she deteriorated rapidly and we had to pull her out. Since leaving she's gained weight and is walking on her own again. She said food had no taste & the only people to check on her were housekeeping emptying her trash.
