Please beware! My friend was there for a week after a lung transplant. They neglected to give her the anti rejection meds! Thank goodness her doctor caught it by reviewing her blood work and she was taken out of there immediately! How could they neglect giving her such a critical medication? How does that even happen?! Its frightening and unfathomable. . If I could give zero stars Id do it!

My uncle is in there and all he did was walk to the front desk to ask what is the name of the facility and I overheard a staff member very rude and loud say. I just got here ask somebody else. She was very nasty so when I asked what was her name another lady gets on the phone and said I don't know her name. The only reason why they got a 1 because zero isn't available. Very rude

My brother-in-law is very sick and has cirrhosis of the liver Dr. Spector explained the disease process with my sister and I and made everything very easy to understand I am a registered nurse and my sister is a veterinary nurse so we both understand the physiology of disease process but when a loved one is involved it makes everything very personal. The charge nurse, Dolores, was very helpful and Carol, his nurse was very patient with my brother-in-law. Deer Meadows is staffed adequately and most of the staff are caring and friendly.
