They treated my family like their own! They provided my father and uncle great care, empathy, and compassion along with assisting them to transition back to their homes!

The nurses and staff are very attentive. Kim the Social Director helped our family tremendously. She took the time to explain the facility and answer our questions. I highly recommend The Grove as a place where the patients are given the best care possible. Everyone gives their best for the patients and it shows.

I have visited The Grove many times in past month. The Social Worker, Kim is awesome as well as the rest of the management. They will provide you with any information you might need. When there is a change in status and a patient needs to be moved or is released to home-bound, Kim is fabulous at making certain ever detail and referrals are taken care of to make the transition easy for families. The only downfall is that Kim has a more than enormous caseload. Even a part-time assistant would be able to take some of the burden, for she is wearing hats of both Admissions and Social Worker. Michelle is the manager and she is also very pleasant. She has a great rapport with her staff. She has meetings twice a day to make certain everyone is on the same page. As far as the Nursing staff, they are wonderful and truly care about their patients. The Activities staff is also great, although they would be able to provide more if the local community would consider giving a helping hand. There are many schools around the area that require their students to do community service, why not help!? Everyone working there knows their job well, management, nurses, nurses aides, custodial, activities, etc. The seem to all take pride in the job they do and they also truly care to make The Grove stand out.

I have been to The Grove at New Castle to inquire about a hair stylist position for the residents and patients. In my experience, the staff was very helpful and concerned with the needs of the residents and those is short term rehabilitative care. Their main concern, for the position I was interested in, was making sure that I would be able to address the most basic hair care needs of ALL residents and patients. It was my opinion that the staff was very supportive and engaged in the needs of those in their care. While I was there, I was briefly shown 'the salon area' and while passing through, I did not witness a single nurse or even administrator not working.

This summer my children and I attended a Summer Carnival that the facility had for the residents and their families. It was well put together. They had a face painter, several carnival games, a guy who did balloon designs, and lots of food. It was a fun time and the residents really enjoyed themselves.
